• The venue for SMO, the International Exhibition Center Big Square, was newly established within the Virtual City Yokohama, MM., which is based on the motif of the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama.
  Big Square is an online exhibition venue with multiple, multi-purpose halls that can accommodate a wide range of events, from large-scale events to private exhibitions.
  
  No special VR or AR goggles are required, and anyone from all over the world can easily participate online.
  
  All participants of SMO are welcome to enjoy touring the booths while looking at the "Dealer MAP" placed in the Big Square exhibition hall, just as if they were at a real mineral show.

Create a more realistic experience with the virtual booth!

Virtual booths (V booths) will be set up on the DIPs (Dealer Information Pages) of participating dealers to create a real event experience.
At the V Booth, you can click on the main titles to view fan registration and various dealer information.

Product page that conveys ease of use and appeal

SMO's product pages are designed to be simple and easy to read so that the product's appeal and detailed data can be fully conveyed to everyone.

Additionally, the page includes numerous features such as price negotiation, a message function, and a fan registration button, aiming to make the page even easier to use for customers than it would be at a real event.

Beginners are able to shop without any worries

At SMO, all exhibitors will not put high threshold and beginners are able to participate without any worries.

When encountering any questions about specimens, please freely make an enquiry to the dealer.

On each product page there is a function to send a message to the dealer.
We hope you will use this function to resolve any questions you may have while enjoying your collection.

This is the description in regards to participating in SMO how to make purchases.

Below are the details of the flow from the product purchasing to receiving the purchased items.

• Login (entering the venue) to SMO My Page with Hobby Market membership ID and Password.
• Purchase a product from a dealer.
• Make the product purchase payment to SMO.
• Dealer will ship sold product to an assigned logistics agency.
• After all the sold products are gathered, the delivery will be made.
• Once confirming that the product has delivered to the customer, SMO will make the payment to the dealer.

Once the product purchase order has been made, it is considered that the sales contract has been agreed.
The purchase settlement will be completed once the payment is completed with SMO.

However, the payment system at SMO is that the committee will keep all the payments until we receive confirmations of product arrival from the customers.
If the purchased product does not arrive accordingly, we will determine that the purchase is cancelled and will be refunded.
Therefore, any visitors are able to shop without any worries.

*In regards to refunds, we must receive a contact from the customer during the determined time period.

Delivery Procedure of the Products

All purchased products will be gathered into 1 delivery by the logistics agency.
In SMO, we call it “Consolidated Delivery”.

With this “Consolidated Delivery”, there is no need for delivery fees to each dealer and all purchased products from multiple dealers will be delivered at once.

However, if the products that are “high quality” in terms of the price or very fragile that could be considered as “special product”, the product may get shipped directly from the dealer as a regular shipment.

Whether the product will be delivered as Consolidated Delivery or as a regular delivery will be noted on the product page.

Delivery Procedure from International Dealers

When purchasing products from overseas dealers, as a general rule, all products will as consolidated shipment.
However, when shipping from overseas, it takes time for the package to reach the Japanese logistics company.
Therefore, for products purchased from overseas dealers that are being shipped together, the products from the domestic dealers will be shipped first, and then once the products are consolidated, they will be shipped on the next delivery.

*If you live overseas, you can change to "Standard Shipping (Direct Shipping)" if the overseas dealer approves before payment.
This allows shipping from overseas to overseas without going through Japan.
Example: Shipping from a dealer in the US to a buyer in the US.

Easy Shopping from International Dealers!!

At SMO, visitors are able to purchase items from international dealers without any worries.
Also, by using the system of SMO, visitors are able to shop safely, smoothly and without any worries even with no experience dealing with dealers.

• 【Payment and Purchasing system with International Dealers】
• Purchasing contract and payment settlement will be dealt as the same method with the Japanese domestic dealers.
• The payment system is that any settled payments will be collected by the SMO headquarter at first.
  Once the arrival of the products has been confirmed by the buyer, the dealer will receive the payment of the sales from the committee.
• Cases such as if the product is not getting delivered, product that you did not purchased arrived or the product is clearly poor in quality,
  the committee will look into such cases and will determine if the refund shall be needed and cancel the purchase and refund.
• The multilingual message translation function allows for smooth communication.
  If you experience difficulties in negotiating the warranty, please contact the Executive Committee, who will represent your request.

• Products purchased from international dealers will take more time than usual to be delivered.
• Deliveries of products purchased from international dealers will cost 2,750JPY on top of domestic “Consolidated Delivery”.

• Refunds and claim guarantees require confirmation and communication within a specified period.
• SMO does not guarantee or assume any responsibility for the quality or refund of products purchased from overseas dealers.
  Before purchasing, please be sure to check the warranty provided by the dealer listed on the product page.

Exhibitors are lineup of carefully chosen high quality dealers!!

At SMO, we aim to be a "mineral show where only the best can be found", and we adhere to a strict management policy.
First, exhibiting dealers are required to undergo a strict screening process in advance, and only reputable dealers who pass this screening are allowed to exhibit.
The requirements include such as “history of achievements” and “knowledge of handling products”.
Also, qualities of all products must be up to a certain level and either “Authentic assurance” or “Quality assurance” are required for the event participation.

We are aiming for all participants to be able to shop safely without any worries as much as possible and to be a committed mineral show that is not to be small profits and quick returns event.
